This role is ideal for a capable Bookkeeper who enjoys owning the transactional finance function and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts payable processing
- Supplier and subcontractor invoice management
- Payment runs and reconciliations
- Maintaining financial records and ledgers
- Month-end bookkeeping support
- Data entry and financial administration
- Supporting estimating and operational teams with administrative tasks
- Assisting the CFO with reporting and finance-related projects as required
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Minimum 3 years' bookkeeping experience in an Australian business
- Strong accounts payable and reconciliation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence working across accounting systems and Excel
- The ability to manage workloads independently
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
- Experience within construction, building or trades environments will be highly regarded
- Databuild
- Construction job-costing systems
- Document management platforms
- Contractor and subcontractor payment processes
