The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and customer-focused Business Development Manager to join a globally recognised organisation known for innovation, service excellence, and leadership within the hospitality, retail and food service sectors, 

In this role, you will be instrumental in driving new business acquisition while expanding and strengthening key client relationships across Australia.

You will lead sales strategy, manage high-value accounts, deliver tender submissions, and collaborate closely with internal teams to create compelling value propositions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans within the hospitality sector
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive market engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Support marketing initiatives and new product launches (NPUs)
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
  • Lead tender submissions, proposals, and client presentations
  • Plan and manage activity pipelines to maximise engagement
  • Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline management via CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Provide monthly forecasts, performance reports, and KPI tracking
  • Collaborate with engineering, applications, and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure alignment with broader business strategy and operational objectives
  • Adhere to company policies, including WHS, expenses, and vehicle use
About You
  • Proven business development experience with success in winning major accounts (hospitality sector highly regarded)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse financial data, manage budgets, and understand P&L impact
  • Highly strategic with strong planning and analytical capabilities
  • Experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a proactive, energetic approach
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required
  • Valid driver’s licence
