About the Opportunity:
We're seeking experienced Civil Plant Operators to join busy earthworks and infrastructure crews across Ashgrove and surrounding Brisbane suburbs. Multiple positions are available for skilled operators looking for consistent hours, excellent pay rates, and long-term opportunities on major civil construction projects.
Whether you're operating excavators, rollers, posi tracks, or water carts, you'll be working on active subdivisions, road upgrades, bulk earthworks, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects alongside experienced crews and supervisors.
This is an opportunity to secure ongoing work with reputable civil contractors delivering some of Brisbane's largest developments.

- Pipe Crew Labourers
- Excavator Operators
- Roller Operators
- Posi Track (Skid Steer) Operators
- Water Cart Drivers
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plant safely and efficiently on active civil construction sites
- Spotting Active Machinery and exclusion zones
- Assisting pipe layers wiht labouring tasks and duties
- Perform bulk earthworks, trenching, final trim, drainage and roadworks activities
- Work around underground services and live construction environments
- Conduct daily pre-starts and basic machine maintenance checks
- Assist site crews to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Follow site safety procedures and supervisor instructions
To be successful, you'll need:
- Construction White Card
- own reliable Transport
- Proven experience operating civil plant machinery / Labouring
- Ability to work in fast-paced civil construction environments
- Strong understanding of site safety requirements
- Reliable transport and commitment to ongoing work
- Ability to work 5060 hours per week
Highly Regarded:
- HR Licence
- GPS machine experience
- Final trim experience
- Civil subdivision or road construction background
- Multiple plant tickets and competencies
- Experience working around services, drainage and utilities
