RoadTek Brisbane Operations Unit is seeking 3x Civil Labourers (Electrical) to join the Stolen Cable Replacement Project based out of the Hemmant Depot.
These roles will support electrical infrastructure works, including cable replacement and associated civil activities. Work is predominantly night shift, with overtime available.
Positions Available:
2 x Electrical Construction Workers (General Duties)
1 x Electrical Construction Worker (Welding Focus)
Key Responsibilities:
- General labouring and construction duties
- Electrical cable replacement works
- Trenching and pit installation/replacement
- Assisting with plant, equipment, and site setup
- Working safely in a night shift environment
Skills & Experience
Mandatory (All Roles):
- MR (Medium Rigid) Licence
- Construction/labouring experience
- Ability to work night shifts
- White Card
- Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug test.
Highly Regarded (2 x General Roles):
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket
- Crane ticket
- Experience in trenching and pit replacement
Required (1 x Welding Role):
- ARC Welding experience/qualification (non-structural)
- Experience in trenching and pit replacement (advantageous)
Employment Conditions:
Pay level dependent on skills and qualifications
Overtime applicable (when worked)
50% loading for night shift ($64.43 to $66.23)
Immediate start
Contract through to 28th August 2026 with possibility of extension for the right people
These roles will be mostly on a 4 night week - 10-12 hour shifts
