AWX Executive is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a high-performing precision engineering and manufacturing team based in Dalby . This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified professional looking to secure a long-term role with strong earning potential and career growth.
The Role
This position plays a key role in delivering high-precision machined components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Key Duties:
- Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Machine components to tight tolerances and quality requirements
- Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
- Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
- Collaborate with the team to improve manufacturing processes
- Ensure all tasks are completed to a high level of precision and consistency
Essential Requirements:
- Trade qualified
- Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment
- Proven experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills
- Strong commitment to HSEQ and team performance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to commit to a full-time position
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong team player
- Forklift licence
- Experience in a similar industrial/manufacturing environment
- CAD/CAM experience (e.g. Fusion)
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Fagor controllers
- $43-$48 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
