About our client
Our clients are a reputable company within the coal mining industry specialising in steel making coal (metallurgical coal) and are teaming up with AWX to find skilled legends like you. They're all about quality, innovation, and sustainability across Australia and worldwide.
What you'll do
- Drive haul trucks - Rigid Haul Truck Operators, Must have experience & Skills on 830e electrics ideally with experience working in surface mining being loaded by Excavators / Diggers and Electric Shovels,
- MS operators - plus two other machines (grader, dozer, wheel dozer or excavator)
Graders - CATERPILLAR 16, 18, 24 H,M & G's
Dozers - D9, D10 & D11 T's & R's, Komatsu WD900, Komatsu 475's
Excavators - 400T PLUS big diggers, Hitachi EX3600's, EX5600's, ZX330 & ZX350, Liebherr R9350 & R996, CATERPILLAR 6060
Signed SSE skills list Required, Training transcripts,
What you'll need
Coal Board Medical
Standard 11 - SOA within five years or SOC within six months of issue date
Pass the drug and alcohol screening & a Pre Employment Functional test
Current unrestricted drivers licence and a trusty ride
At least 12+ months experience operating one of those machines in a coal mine.
Signed Skillslist/Competency Report by a SSE or Trainer
Strong and proactive approach to safety
A can-do attitude towards showing up, being present and looking sharp

Even Time 7:7 Roster rotating Day & Night shifts, 12.5 HOUR shifts, Camp and Meals provided, No bus service is available so must have your own reliable transport, and up to $1000 per month bonus on some sites!!
