About our Project
This is a great opportunity to show what you can do in a commercial roofing environment with a client that has ongoing roles and projects coming up. The initial project is expected to run for up to 3 months and involves insurance works. For the right person, there is strong potential for further opportunities as additional projects commence. We're looking for someone who is independent, proactive and a self-starter-someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of their work and prove themselves on site.
What you'll do
• Complete the full replacement of a commercial roof on an active trading building.
• Ensure the building remains watertight at the end of every shift and all works meet Region C cyclonic requirements and relevant building standards.
• Manage the day-to-day running of the project, providing regular updates and progress reports to the Brisbane team.
• Coordinate trades, materials and site activities to keep the project moving safely and efficiently.
• Be hands-on and willing to get on the tools when required to support the team and keep the project on track.
• Work independently, take ownership of the project and maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and deadlines.
Tickets & experience you'll need
• Solid metal roofing trade background, ideally with commercial experience
• Able to run a site independently and provide daily updates to the Brisbane team
• Experience managing crews and maintaining good client relationships
• Mature, reliable and able to work without constant supervision
• Current White Card
• QBCC or Supervisor ticket - highly regarded
• Payrate $80 (negotiable by experience)
