About the Opportunity
AWX Executive is partnering with a leading organisation in the education sector to recruit a talented Communications Officer .
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team, working alongside senior communications professionals, project teams, and subject matter experts to deliver impactful communications across multiple channels.
About the Role
In this role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality internal and external communications. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit and deliver engaging content across multiple channels including:
- Campaigns
- Websites (landing pages and blogs)
- Media releases
- Email (EDMs)
- Social media and video
- Support integrated communications and marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms
- Ensure all communications align with brand, content, and social media guidelines
- Assist with marketing automation activity (e.g. EDM builds, audience setup, testing and deployment)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, customer-focused messaging
- Coordinate with external suppliers such as content creators and designers
- Manage multiple projects and requests, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of communications processes and practices
You are a proactive and adaptable communications professional who enjoys working collaboratively and can confidently manage competing priorities.
You will bring:
- Proven experience developing content across multiple channels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to distil complex information into clear, plain English
- Excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with digital platforms and marketing tools
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field
- Experience with marketing automation and CMS platforms (e.g. Marketo)
