AWX are seeking a variety of experienced Civil Labourers & Road & Maintenance Crew for work opportunities across multiple Projects out of Cairns. A main requirement is for people who fit our culture with a positive "CAN DO" attitude and be self-motivated.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Start date: 7 April 2026
Day Shift | Remote | 10 days on, 4 days off
Accommodation & meals supplied | Over time & LAHA work allowances apply
Casual position
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in civil construction within pipelaying, drainage and or road maintenance/upgrade is highly regarded
• Reliable transport
• MR Drivers Licence or above
• Construction White Card
• Physically fit and capable for manual duties
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to undertake & pass a pre-employment medical, physical and D&A
• Ability to work long hours
• Flexibility for potential work away from home as per project requirements
• A quick learner who can think on their feet
• Reliable and flexible
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and with others
