The Opportunity:
Opportunity for an experienced proactive and customer-focused dispatch officer to join our clients team.
This is a key role responsible for delivering efficient and reliable dispatch operations, ensuring our customers receive timely and accurate service. You will play a critical part in coordinating order entry, scheduling, and delivery activities while maintaining strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
Working closely with sales, operations, and logistics teams, you will help drive high levels of service performance and contribute to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end dispatch operations, including order entry, scheduling, and delivery coordination
  • Provide high-quality customer service, acting as a key point of contact for enquiries and support
  • Coordinate interbranch stock transfers and inventory movements
  • Liaise with internal teams and drivers to ensure efficient and accurate service delivery
  • Maintain accurate dispatch documentation and system records
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and transport regulations, including load and fatigue requirements
  • Support achievement of DIFOT (Delivered in Full, On Time) and service performance targets

What you will need to succeed:
  • Experience in logistics, or dispatch operations with strong customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • High attention to detail and administrative capability
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude
