AWX are looking for reliable driller's assistants to join our clients growing drilling team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a tight-knit crew. You will be supporting the driller in daily operations and helping ensure safe, efficient drilling activities including spotting machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Driller with daily drilling operations
- Handling rods, tools, and equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
- Following safety procedures and company policies
- General labouring and offsider duties as required
- Cleaning equipment
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a drillers assistant
- Confined space ticket
- Construction white card
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically fit and comfortable working in hot conditions
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Current drivers licence
- Checkable references
- Ability to pass a drug test
