Our client is seeking a driven and customer-focused External Sales Representative to manage and grow an established sales territory while actively developing new business opportunities. This is a permanent, full-time position, with the office based in Greater Western Sydney.
You will receive a company car, competitive commission, and the opportunity for hybrid working.
This is a highly autonomous role, well suited to someone who enjoys being on the road, building strong relationships, and delivering commercial outcomes. You will be active in the marketplace, supported by strong internal systems and collaborative teams.
Key accountabilities include:
- Successfully managing a territory of existing customer accounts
- Managing a structured cycle of customer contact in line with business requirements
- Accurately reporting and administering sales and customer information using the company’s CRM system
- Maximising customer profitability through the introduction of new products, rate increases, and proactive account management
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key customers to reduce account loss and increase revenue
- Proactively targeting and winning new customer accounts aligned with the broader sales strategy
- Maintaining a strong focus on new business development and pipeline growth
- Structuring, building, and strengthening new customer relationships to maximise satisfaction and profitability
- Operating autonomously while remaining visible and active in the market
The Candidate
You will be well suited to this role if you:
- Bring proven sales experience within Manufacturing and/or Logistics environments
- Have experience managing a sales territory (highly regarded)
- Are self-motivated, driven, and results-focused
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to excellence
- Have strong capability using Sales Management or CRM systems
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence
