We are looking fo multiple Extrusion Operators to join our client in Suburbs of Brisbane, there are permanent full-time position. These roles offer strong earning potential, long‑term stability and excellent work‑life balance on a structured rotating roster.
As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of extrusion and associated plant equipment while ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion machinery
- Load and handle raw materials
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform tooling changes, machine changeovers, and line set‑ups
- Complete line changes, planning, and set‑ups
- Complete production and quality documentation
- Responsible for packing on assigned production lines
- Operate forklifts and overhead gantry cranes
- Follow all OH&S policies and procedures
- Previous experience in the plastics industry or extrusion operations (ideal)
- Experience operating extrusion machinery highly regarded
- Current forklift licence (essential)
- Strong awareness of safety and quality requirements
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts
