AWX are currently recruiting factory labourers for a manufacturing plant at Carrara. Must be physically fit as all these roles involve repetitive activity and some products are heavy.
Experience in a factory environment is required or a good understanding of the use of hand tools such as grinders, nail guns, drills, and drop saws. Must possess a good attitude, wiliness to learn and ability follow instructions.
This is a unique environment making a niche product so a willingness to learn new skills is essential.
Some are ongoing opportunities with a view to permanency so we cannot accept working holiday visa holders for this role, but we have other roles you could be considered for.

WHAT YOU REQUIRE TO BE SUCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
We are looking for reliable people with a positive attitude for the production area of this fast-moving manufacturing facility based in Carrara.
- To succeed in these roles your will have the following:
- High level of fitness and good core strength
- Confident in the use of hand tools
- Previous experience in a physically demanding high-volume position.
- Driver's licence and reliable transport
- Be a citizen, permanent resident of Australia or hold a valid work visa
- Commit to work between the hours of 05:00 14:30 (overtime penalties paid)
- Suitable level of fitness to pass a pre-employment physical (including drug test) for some of the roles
- 2 x recent checkable work references
