About the Role:
AWX are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Chipping Norton. Working within a large production environment, you will be responsible for safely moving and handling plastic pipe products while supporting production and warehouse operations. This role operates on a rotating 12-hour A, B, C & D roster, with shifts varying depending on your allocated team, typically consisting of a combination of day and night shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable operator looking for long-term, ongoing work in a safety-focused environment.
What You'll Do:
• Operating forklifts to move finished products and raw materials throughout the site
• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Supplying production lines with materials as required
• Picking, staging and dispatching customer orders
• Completing pre-start equipment checks and reporting any faults
• Maintaining accurate stock movements and warehouse organisation
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures
• Assisting with general warehouse duties and housekeeping
• This role contains repetitive manual handling tasks and requires a strong commitment to workplace safety.
What You'll Need:
• Minimum 2 consecutive years of forklift driving experience
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Current National Police Check (essential)
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment physical assessment
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable transport and the flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour roster, including day and night shifts
