We are seeking reliable and motivated Permanent Production Operators to join a growing manufacturing operation based in Torrington, Toowoomba.
This hands-on role is focused on the manufacture and packaging of pre-mix concrete and cement products. Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for producing quality products to specification, operating production equipment, handling raw materials, and supporting warehouse and dispatch activities. While forklift operation forms part of the role, the primary focus is production and manufacturing.

Successful applicants will complete a 6-month probationary period before moving to ongoing permanent employment.
Available Shifts
Monday to Friday with a choice of fixed shifts:
6:00am - 2:00pm
1:00pm - 9:00pm
No rotating rosters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture pre-mix concrete and cement products to specified formulations and quality standards
- Measure and mix raw materials using predetermined mix ratios
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Fill, seal, stack and prepare bags of pre-mix concrete products for dispatch
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process
- Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products
- Assist with receiving, storing and dispatching goods
- Load and unload deliveries as required
- Maintain clean, organised and compliant production and warehouse areas
- Follow all company policies, procedures and safety requirements
- Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production targets
About You
- To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Current Driver's Licence (preferred)
- Previous manufacturing, production, concrete, quarry, process work or warehouse experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and motivated work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production specifications accurately
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work
- Must reside in the Toowoomba region
- Availability to work one of the nominated shifts
Important Requirements
Due to the nature of the products being manufactured, employees are required to wear respiratory protection and dust masks as part of the site's safety requirements.
As an effective respirator seal is required:
Applicants must be willing and able to be clean shaven while on site
Facial hair that interferes with respirator fit cannot be accommodated in this role
The successful applicant will also be required to:
Undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment
Demonstrate fitness to perform the inherent physical requirements of the position
Comply with all site safety, PPE and respiratory protection requirements
