We are looking for both experienced forklift operators who are confident moving wide loads and candidates with a valid forklift licence who would prefer to focus on machine operation, with occasional forklift duties.
About the Role
Depending on your experience and allocated position, duties may include:
- Operating forklifts to move plasterboard, wide loads and production materials.
- Operating machinery used in plasterboard manufacturing.
- Assisting with production tasks and material handling.
- Following site safety procedures and maintaining a tidy work area.
Hours and Pay
You must be available to work all three shifts on a rotating weekly roster:
Week 1: Afternoon shift.
Week 2: Day shift.
Week 3: Night shift.
Week 4: Afternoon shift, continuing the rotation.
The day shift base rate is $45 per hour, with additional penalty rates for afternoon and night shifts.
What We're Looking For
- A current, valid LF forklift licence is essential for all positions.
- Experience moving wide or oversized loads is highly regarded for forklift-focused positions.
- Candidates with less forklift experience are encouraged to apply for machine-focused positions involving occasional forklift operation.
- Availability for ongoing Monday to Friday work across the full rotating roster.
- A reliable approach to attendance, teamwork and workplace safety.
