About the Opportunity
AWX is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pickers & Packers
to join our dynamic team in Townsville. If you have a strong work ethic, a positive CAN DO' attitude, are reliable and are eager to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in warehousing or food production. Previous experience is not required
- full training will be provided for the right candidates with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
•Rotate and manage stock within freezer storage areas
•Accurately pick and pack pre-packaged food products
•Assist with stocktakes as required
•Perform general duties within the freezer storeroom
•Work safely in a cold-room and freezer environment
(previous experience is an advantage but not essential)
•Maintain strict quality standards with strong attention to detail
•Communicate effectively and work well within a small team
•Be available to work day, afternoon, and night shifts
as required
•Safely lift, push, and pull boxes weighing up to 15kg
What We're Looking For
•Physically fit and comfortable performing manual handling tasks
•Reliable, flexible, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
•Quick learner with a positive attitude
•Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
•Own PPE, including steel-capped boots
•Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test and fitness assessment
• Must be able to work Tuesdays
Thursdays, occasionally Fridays, starting anywhere from 12PM
