THE ROLE
As the Relations & Compliance Advisor, you will provide expert advice on industrial instruments, employment legislation, organisational policy, and remuneration matters. You will work closely with leaders and employees, guiding them through complex issues, supporting organisational change, and strengthening compliance frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide specialist IR and legislative advice across the organisation.
- Interpret Awards, Certified Agreements and legislation to guide decision‑making.
- Lead consultation with stakeholders and unions on IR matters.
- Support organisational change processes and workforce communication.
- Develop IR resources and deliver training and education programs.
- Draft IR correspondence, submissions, contracts and supporting documents.
- Conduct research, analyse data and prepare IR and remuneration reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and effective management of sensitive records.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Qualifications in Law, HR, IR or related field (degree preferred).
- Experience in industrial relations, investigations, analysis and advisory work.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated capability in interpreting legislation, awards and agreements.
- High competency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain high confidentiality.
