We are currently recruiting General Labourers for multiple manufacturing and production clients based in Yatala and Ormeau. These are physical, fast-paced roles working with precast concrete products used across Australia's civil and construction industries.
You'll be working as part of a production team assisting with the manufacture of products such as concrete tanks, wastewater systems, drainage products, and other civil construction materials.
What's involved?
- Assisting with preparing moulds and pouring concrete
- Finishing, patching and grinding concrete products
- Using hand and power tools
- Moving materials around the production yard
- General labouring and factory housekeeping
- Quality checking finished products
- Heavy lifting and repetitive manual work
What's on offer?
- Casual ongoing opportunities with potential for long-term work
- $32-$34 per hour (casual)
- Consistent Monday to Friday work
- Early morning starts (3am, 4am, 5am or 6am depending on the role)
- Opportunity to learn new skills and grow within established manufacturing businesses
- Immediate starts available pending successful pre-employment checks
To be considered, you will need:
- Previous labouring, manufacturing or construction experience (preferred)
- A strong work ethic and good level of physical fitness
- Reliable transport to Yatala or Ormeau
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and medical assessment
- Willingness to undergo random onsite drug and alcohol testing
- As part of the application process, you will also be required to complete a physical fitness assessment at our Robina office.
