What you'll do
General labouring across warehousing, manufacturing, civil and building sites
Operate basic machinery and lifting equipment to move, process and handle materials
Assist with production tasks including fabrication support, plate handling, repairs and basic assembly work
Use hand tools and measuring equipment (gauge, tape measures, etc.) to check and assess components
Support trades and operators with day-to-day workshop and site tasks
Manual handling including loading, unloading and material movement
Keep workshop and site areas clean, safe and organised
Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture
Tickets & experience you'll need
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport (or ability to get to site)
Ability to obtain or hold required site tickets (e.g. White Card where applicable)
Local to the Townsville region
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Flexible and willing to work extended hours when required
Ability to learn quickly and adapt across different site environments
About the opportunity
AWX is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Labourers / Production Operators to join our dynamic team across Townsville and surrounding areas. This role offers exposure to a range of industries including manufacturing, warehousing, civil construction and landscaping. You'll be working in supportive teams with opportunities to build skills, gain experience and secure ongoing work.
