We are seeking 2 x trade-qualified Mechanical Maintenance Fitters for an ongoing opportunity in Carbrook. This role will suit experienced mechanical fitters with a strong background in industrial or processing plant environments.
Key Responsibilities
·Carry out programmed and preventative maintenance across plant equipment
·Maintain and repair belt conveyors, chute work, flow diverters and vertical bucket elevators
·Complete mechanical diagnostics, servicing and repairs on vibrating screens, aggregate dryers and dry product mixers
·Troubleshoot and maintain automated dry product packaging and bagging lines
·Complete mechanical fault finding and repairs across the processing plant
·Follow strict site LOTO/isolation procedures and safety requirements
·Complete shift handover logs and maintenance documentation
Requirements
·Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter
·Previous industrial, manufacturing or processing plant experience
·Experience with conveyors, processing equipment and automated packaging lines
·Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
·Understanding of LOTO/isolation procedures
·Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
·Full PPE including steel-cap boots, hi-vis shirt, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves
·Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently and as part of a team

·Afternoon/night shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:00pm - 1:00am
