About the Role:
AWX are currently looking for On-Call Pallet Repairers to join our team, working across sites in Wetherill Park and Erskine Park.
This is an on-call position, with shifts available across day, afternoon and night shifts. You must be flexible and available to work across both locations as required.
What You'll Do:
• Repair and maintain pallets using tools such as hammers, pneumatic nail guns and grinders
• Complete manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 20kg
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Be available for shifts when called upon - Standby Roster
• Work across both Wetherill Park and Erskine Park locations as required
• Full training will be provided, including training on specific tools and equipment
What we need:
• Must be available for on-call work as this will be a Standby roster
• Flexibility to work across Wetherill Park and Erskine Park
• Positive attitude towards availability, attendance and presentation
• Previous experience using hand tools is preferred, however full training will be provided
• Physically fit and comfortable performing repetitive lifting and manual tasks
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical involving functional assessment and drug/alcohol screening
• Forklift ticket an advantage
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
