This role is primarily machine-based, focusing on automated bagging, packing, and palletising processes of construction building materials, with limited forklift operation required.
About the Role:
- Operate automated machinery for bagging, packing, and palletising building products
- Monitor production lines to ensure consistent quality and output
- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to maintain efficiency
- Conduct quality checks on finished products
- Maintain a clean and safe production environment
- Occasional forklift operation (side loader / high reach) as required
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience operating production or manufacturing machinery
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Current LF Forklift Licence (highly regarded but minimal use)
- Experience with side loader or high reach forklifts advantageous
