Our client is a well-established roofing contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality commercial roofing projects across South East Queensland. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an organised and proactive Project Support Officer to provide essential support to the Construction Manager and wider project team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the central point of coordination, keeping projects organised, and supporting successful project delivery. It is not a traditional Contract Administrator role, but rather a hands-on project support position working closely with the Construction Manager across multiple projects.
As the Project Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting project delivery from commencement through to completion. You'll be responsible for coordinating documentation, communicating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring project information is accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day support to the Construction Manager
- Maintaining project documentation, records, and correspondence
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and material orders
- Assisting with project scheduling and tracking milestones
- Preparing reports, meeting minutes, and project updates
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and site personnel
- Managing project administration and compliance documentation
- Supporting the smooth delivery of roofing projects from start to finish
- Previous experience in Project Administration, Project Coordination, Construction Administration, or a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Construction industry experience highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and prioritise competing tasks
