Are you a seasoned civil professional ready to step into a pivotal project support role on some of Queensland's most active road infrastructure projects?
Our client - a commercial business within the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads - is looking for an experienced Project Support Representative (PSR) to join their Sunshine Coast Operations team.

This isn't an entry-level opportunity. We're looking for someone who has been in the trenches on large road or civil construction projects and knows how to keep things moving behind the scenes.

About Our Client
Our client delivers transport infrastructure solutions across Queensland, operating across a wide range of disciplines to national and international standards. Their teams often work in live traffic environments under time-critical conditions - which means the people they bring on need to be sharp, reliable, and safety-conscious from day one.

About the Role
This is an initial 6-month contract with the very real potential to extend for the right person - our client's projects are ongoing and they value people who embed well in the team.
As PSR, you'll be the right hand to Project Managers and Supervisors - taking ownership of the coordination and administrative backbone of the project so they can focus on technical leadership and on-the-ground delivery.
You'll need to be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, makes sound judgements under pressure, and isn't afraid to take ownership of outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Scheduling and resource allocation across project teams
• Document control and compliance tracking
• Procurement coordination and cost tracking
• Monitoring project progress and preparing reports
• Coordinating subcontractors and materials logistics
• Upholding safety and quality standards across all site activities
• Supporting WHS compliance and fostering an inclusive, respectful team environment

What We're Looking For
• Demonstrated experience in civil construction or large-scale roading projects - this role is not suited to someone just starting out
• Strong record-keeping and reporting skills
• Confident decision-maker who knows when to escalate
• Self-motivated, with a high level of personal accountability
• Committed to safety, compliance, and quality at all times
• Collaborative team player who can also operate independently

What You'll Need to Apply
• Evidence of relevant tickets and licences (including a current Driver Licence)
• Evidence of medical clearance and Construction Health Check (CHC)
• An overview of your work history and relevant civil/roading experience

Ready to Apply?
Apply now - shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a brief onsite interview with our client's Supervisors.
