If you're a qualified Traffic Controller looking for something more hands-on, this is your chance to move into civil road construction work.
We are currently seeking experienced Civil Road Construction Labourers with a strong background in traffic control to join our growing team. This role is ideal for qualified traffic controllers who hold current TMI and/or TMA licences and are looking for consistent work on active road construction projects.
About the Role:
You'll be working on a range of civil road construction sites, supporting crews with both traffic management and general labouring duties. Safety, reliability, and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities
• Traffic control operations in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans
• Operating TMA vehicles and implementing TMI requirements
• General civil labouring duties on road construction sites
• Assisting with site set-up, pack-down, and maintenance
• Ensuring a safe work environment for workers and the public
Desirable Requirements
• Current Traffic Management Vehicle (TMA) licence
• Previous experience in civil road construction and traffic control
Essential Requirements
• MR/HR driver's licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Fitness, Drug and alcohol testing.
• Current Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) licence
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Reliable transport and punctual work ethic
