About our client
Our client is committed to delivering safe, reliable and fit-for-purpose transport infrastructure across the Mount Isa and Cloncurry region. Works include road maintenance, rehabilitation, civil construction and operational support across both local government networks and active mine sites.
These roles will see you contributing to essential regional infrastructure, ensuring roads safely accommodate local traffic, heavy vehicles and freight movements.
What you'll do
• Pothole repairs and minor road rehabilitation
• Line marking, repainting and signage installation/upkeep
• Earthworks, pavement construction and general civil works
• Working within traffic-controlled and live operational environments
• Operating and working around mobile plant and construction equipment
• Using hand, power, air and battery-operated tools safely and efficiently
• Conducting pre-start inspections and equipment checks
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and environmental compliance
• Supporting mine site operational areas as required
• Completing documentation and adhering to all safety procedures
What you'll need
• Current C Class Driver's Licence (MR or HR highly desirable)
• Construction White Card
• Ability to complete required medicals, inductions and site training
• Experience using hand, power and plant equipment (desirable)
• Physically fit and prepared for hands-on outdoor work
• Strong safety focus and ability to work effectively in a team
• Local to the Cloncurry region preferred
