The Role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the commercial management and successful delivery of construction projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contract and subcontract administration
- Procurement and tender evaluation
- Cost planning and financial management
- Progress claims and payment assessments
- Contract variations and EOT claims
- Monthly forecasting and financial reporting
- Risk identification and commercial strategy
- Client, consultant and subcontractor engagement
- Documentation and quality compliance
- Supporting project delivery teams to achieve project objectives
You are an experienced Contracts Administrator who combines strong commercial acumen with a collaborative and professional approach.
You enjoy contributing to project success, building trusted relationships and being part of a team that genuinely values quality outcomes.
To be successful, you will have:
- 5+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of contract and financial management processes
- Sound knowledge of procurement practices
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing variations, progress claims and subcontractor packages
- High-level Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with CHEOPS or similar cost reporting systems highly regarded
- Exposure to Aconex, OmTrak, QTRAK or similar platforms advantageous
