Our client is a highly respected engineering contractor delivering complex civil and geotechnical projects across Australia. They have secured a major slope stability package, with a significant Townsville project scheduled for the next few months, followed by additional projects in their expanding pipeline.
The Role
This is a permanent full-time role, Brisbane-based, with short-term FIFO to Townsville during the initial delivery stage.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the slope stability project and continue into ongoing civil and geotechnical works across Queensland.
You will be responsible for planning, delivery, leadership, commercial performance, and client engagement. Experience with CivilPro and TMR project standards is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of slope stability and civil works
- Develop, track, and deliver project programs and budgets
- Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
- Drive commercial, safety, and schedule performance
- Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, including TMR
- Transition into new projects within the business as the Townsville works are completed
- Soil nailing
- Shotcrete
- Gabion structures
- Broader civil and geotechnical works
- Proven experience delivering civil, geotechnical, or slope stability projects
- Experience using CivilPro (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of TMR standards and delivery requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Able to work short‑term FIFO to Townsville, then transition into upcoming projects based in Brisbane
