We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Account Manager to drive growth and manage key accounts across the hospitality and food & beverage sectors. This role combines account management, business development, and technical service delivery, working closely with customers to optimise operations and deliver measurable value.
You will play a critical role in maintaining long-term client partnerships while identifying new business opportunities within a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key customer relationships in line with Service Level Agreements , including service delivery, training, and regular business reviews
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across all levels and ensure consistent communication
- Monitor chemical systems, perform chemical testing, troubleshooting, and maintain operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities to introduce new solutions, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement
- Negotiate pricing, manage renewals, and support long-term account growth
- Prospect and secure new customers, develop proposals, and convert opportunities into business
- Conduct trials, technical evaluations, and support implementation of solutions
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer outcomes
- Deliver on-site services, manage stock and logistics, and ensure accurate reporting
- Travel regularly across Sydney and surrounding regions
The Candidate
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Account Management (B2B)
- Strong background in hospitality and/or food & beverage industries
- Degree or Diploma in Science or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments highly regarded
- Strong commercial acumen and customer relationship skills
- Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot technical systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Willingness and ability to travel across the region
