The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Account Manager to drive growth and manage key accounts across the hospitality and food & beverage sectors. This role combines account management, business development, and technical service delivery, working closely with customers to optimise operations and deliver measurable value.

You will play a critical role in maintaining long-term client partnerships while identifying new business opportunities within a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage key customer relationships in line with Service Level Agreements , including service delivery, training, and regular business reviews
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across all levels and ensure consistent communication
  • Monitor chemical systems, perform chemical testing, troubleshooting, and maintain operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new solutions, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement
  • Negotiate pricing, manage renewals, and support long-term account growth
  • Prospect and secure new customers, develop proposals, and convert opportunities into business
  • Conduct trials, technical evaluations, and support implementation of solutions
  • Mentor junior staff and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer outcomes
  • Deliver on-site services, manage stock and logistics, and ensure accurate reporting
  • Travel regularly across Sydney and surrounding regions
 
The Candidate
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Account Management (B2B)
  • Strong background in hospitality and/or food & beverage industries
  • Degree or Diploma in Science or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments highly regarded
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer relationship skills
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to troubleshoot technical systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the region
