About the Role
Working within established maintenance crews, your responsibilities may include:
- Mowing and turf maintenance
- Brush cutting and edging
- Garden and horticultural maintenance
- Weed control and vegetation management
- Streetscape and open space maintenance
- Operation of commercial landscaping equipment
- General property and grounds maintenance
- Completing digital job sheets and safety documentation
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
About You
To be successful, you will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, parks and gardens, property maintenance, civil maintenance or open space maintenance
- Experience operating commercial mowing and maintenance equipment
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Good communication skills
- Confidence using smartphones, apps and digital reporting systems
- A commitment to workplace safety
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- A desire to learn, develop and progress your career
- Certificate III in Parks & Gardens or similar qualification
- ACDC Licence
- MR Licence
- Machinery and plant operation tickets
- Previous experience leading small crews or mentoring team members
