AWX is currently seeking skilled and reliable tradespeople to join a well-established workshop-based operation in Townsville. These are ongoing roles with competitive pay rates and consistent Monday to Friday hours.
Available Positions & Rates
- Spray Painters / Industrial Painters & Blasters $47.50/hr
- Boilermakers $45.50/hr
- Accessory Fitters (4x4 Fit-Up) $40.65/hr
Location & Hours
- Townsville, QLD
- Monday to Friday roster
- Occasional weekend work available
About the Roles
You will be working in a professional workshop environment, contributing to high-quality builds, repairs, and finishes. These roles suit candidates who take pride in their work, maintain strong safety standards, and can work effectively within a team.
Minimum Requirements (All Roles)
- Current Manual Driver's Licence
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
Boilermakers
- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker
- Certificate in Light Fabrication (mandatory)
Spray Painters / Industrial Painters & Blasters
- Relevant trade qualification
- Certificate in Automotive Painting (mandatory)
- Experience with automotive spray painting, coatings, and surface preparation
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Accessory Fitters (4x4 Fit-Up Department)
- Experience in accessory fitting (qualifications preferred)
- Auto Electrical qualification or relevant industry experience
- Current manual driver's licence
