About the Role:
Working within a busy warehouse environment, you'll be responsible for the handling and preparation of reinforcing steel (reo) products for customer orders. This position involves physical manual handling, order picking, palletising materials, and learning gantry crane operations through onsite training.
Duties Include:
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of reo bars and steel products
- Assisting with palletising customer orders
- Order picking using pick sheets and production schedules
- Loading and preparing materials for dispatch
- Operating forklifts (where licensed)
- Learning and operating gantry cranes following training
What You'll Need:
- Previous warehouse, labouring, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transport and attendance record
- Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Full Australian working rights
