The successful candidate will have a strong background in leadership and will be responsible for the efficient handling and distribution of goods within the warehouse.
This role will start on a casual basis with the view to permanency.
About the role:
- Early morning starts - 2 AM !!
- Supervising a small team to ensure accurate distribution of fresh produce and speciality goods.
- Liaising with transport teams to ensure strict delivery schedules are met
- Work to daily targets in a fast-moving environment.
- Packing of fresh produce - lifting, manual handling
- Working ongoing shifts - Monday to Friday.
About You:
- Previous experience in managing a small team within a face paced environment
- Reliable team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Forklift licence is an advantage
- Ability to learn warehouse management systems
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
