AWX are seeking an experienced Welder to join the team based in Wetherill Park. This is an ongoing opportunity working with metal cages used throughout the logistics industry. You'll be responsible for carrying out quality welding repairs to ensure equipment meets operational and safety standards.
This role offers flexibility, with 34 days per week available and the opportunity to work 5 days when required.
What You'll Do:
- Weld and repair steel transport cages and associated equipment
- Perform MIG welding to a high standard
- Inspect cages for damage and complete quality repairs
- Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work as part of a supportive team to meet daily production targets
What We Need:
• Trade qualification or recognised Welding Ticket (essential)
• Minimum 2 years' welding experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical, including functional assessment and drug & alcohol screening
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport
