AWX are hiring reliable operators and Yard Operators looking to take the next step in their career with a leading manufacturing facility based in Yatala.
No gantry crane ticket is required as our client is willing to train the right person to safely operate overhead gantry cranes used to move large concrete products throughout the yard and production areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced forklift operators wanting to gain additional skills and secure long-term employment with a well-established Australian manufacturer.
$35.93/hr + Penalties | Ongoing Opportunity | Immediate Start
What's On Offer:
- Full training provided on overhead gantry cranes
- Monday to Friday roster
- 8:00am - 4:30pm shifts with Overtime available
- Immediate starts available and Long-term ongoing opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and overhead gantry cranes
- Move finished concrete products throughout the yard
- Load and unload trucks for dispatch
- Assist production and yard teams with daily operations
- Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Work around large concrete tanks, pipes, pits and infrastructure products
What We're Looking For:
- Current Forklift Licence (at minimum)
- Experience working in manufacturing, transport, warehousing, construction or heavy industry
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Comfortable working around large products and machinery
- Physically fit and capable of working in an outdoor environment
- Reliable and committed to long-term employment
Highly Regarded:
- Previous gantry crane or overhead crane experience
- Experience loading trucks or moving oversized products
- Experience in concrete, steel, manufacturing or construction environments
